Members of the congregation have been instrumental in the establishment and development of RE-Inspired (formerly the Churches Together in Earley and East Reading (CTEER) Schools Project). The project has been operating since the late 1990s with the aim of enabling local churches to support local school communities in the religious education and spiritual development of their pupils, especially in the areas of Earley and East Reading. RE-Inspired enriches the RE curriculum in 19 schools in our area. St Peter’s is active in this work and the church, and church hall, are regular venues for its activities.
